Join the Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) for a virtual lunch and learn, "Exploring Mental Illness Stigma Interventions Across Learning Modalities," on Wednesday, May 12, at 12 p.m. ET via Zoom. Presented by Michelle Anthony (Cleveland State University), Megan Tewksbury (Marywood University), and Dr. Kelly Renner (Franklin University), this session explores research-based strategies for reducing mental illness stigma in both face-to-face and online learning environments.
Presenters will share findings from studies examining why a stigma-reduction activity was successful in traditional classrooms but produced different results online. Participants will gain practical strategies for fostering student engagement, promoting mental health literacy, and creating more inclusive classroom experiences across instructional modalities.
Registration for this session closes on Sunday, May 9.
