Programme Overview
For the first time, the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA) is organising its 2026 Arbitration Retreat in collaboration with the Dubai International Arbitration Centre. Based on a format originally developed by ASA in 1997, the Retreat has since been held annually with leading arbitration associations and institutions across Europe and Asia.
Over two days, the programme will feature interactive sessions led by experienced arbitration practitioners, following the key stages of an arbitration proceeding. Through real-world case examples and participant-led debate, the Retreat will encourage exchange, innovation, and cross-cultural understanding.
Tailored exclusively for experienced arbitration professionals, it offers a unique opportunity to deepen practical expertise in a dynamic and relaxed setting.
The 2026 edition will take place at The Ritz-Carlton Ras Al Khaimah, Al Wadi Desert. The seminar will be conducted in English, and pre-registration is now open.
