Compassion Age Guidelines:

• Compassion’s recommended minimum age to travel is 13 years old
• There must be a 1:1 ratio minor to parent for 15 years old or younger
• There must be a 1:5 ratio minor to guardian/adult for 16-17 years old
• 18 years old is considered an adult
• Each country has its own entry regulations pertaining to minors. Each airline has its own regulations pertaining to minors flying unaccompanied. It is the responsibility of each minor traveler and their parent to research those regulations and take the necessary steps to be within compliance. Compassion cannot be held liable if a minor doesn’t have proper paperwork and is not allowed to fly by an airline or denied entry by customs upon arrival to destination country.
