What is Potbelly Summer of Service?

Potbelly Summer of Service is a company-wide, summer-long volunteer program that gives you the opportunity to serve your community during working hours in the name of Potbelly. It's a chance to come together, locally, with other members of the Potbelly Nation while others are doing the same in their neighborhoods across the country. This year's Summer of Service will run from June 1st through August 31st.

 

Who can participate?

  • Salaried team members (Shop GMs, DMs, Regionals and Support Center) are eligible to participate during work hours. 
  • Hourly team members are welcome to join if they are not scheduled to work during the event.

 

How does it work?

Each event lasts approximately 2-3 hours and is coordinated by a local leader. Once you register, you’ll receive additional details to help you prepare. And of course - you’ll get a Potbelly Serves t-shirt to wear proudly during your event.

 

What are some examples of events?

Last year brought some incredible opportunities to serve, including:

  • Feeding those in needs
  • Supporting special needs inclusion
  • Caring for pets at local shelters
  • Serving individuals experiencing homelessness
  • … and so much more!

How can I lead an event?

Have a cause you're passionate about? We'd love your leadership. Reach out to a local organization that you care about, gather details, and help coordinate a volunteer opportunity for your team.

 

How do I get my volunteer t-shirt?

After signing for a Summer of Service event, you will receive a confirmation with a link to order your volunteer t-shirt.
