This NYS Education Department mandated training is a “one-time” training required for school bus drivers and attendants/monitors. You will be given everything you need to understand what the child abuse laws require of you as a mandated reporter.
The signs of abuse for each of the six types of abuse will be identified and your legal obligation to report will be shared. In addition, you will learn when to report, to whom and how to report suspected child abuse.
