Course Description
Replacing missing teeth with implant-supported restorations requires careful coordination of surgical, prosthetic, and digital workflows to achieve predictable functional and esthetic outcomes. This presentation will focus on contemporary restorative approaches for single-tooth implants and short-span implant-supported restorations.
Attendees will explore current technologies and clinical protocols that support treatment planning and restoration of partially edentulous patients. Emphasis will be placed on restorative-driven implant planning, provisionalization, emergence profile development, implant selection, and patient-specific restorations. Through clinical case examples, participants will gain practical strategies for managing common restorative challenges and optimizing esthetic, functional, and long-term treatment outcomes in both single-unit and multi-unit implant cases.
Upon completion of this program, participants should be able to:
- Identify key restorative and surgical considerations for treatment planning single-tooth implants and short-span implant-supported bridges, including factors that influence esthetic and functional outcomes.
- Evaluate the role of digital workflows, provisionalization, and CAD/CAM technologies in the design and delivery of single-unit and multi-unit implant restorations.
- Apply prosthodontic principles to optimize implant selection, restorative design, and emergence profile development in order to enhance predictability and long-term success of implant-supported restorations.
