As chronic and complex health cases continue to rise, the ability to interpret laboratory findings from a functional perspective has become an essential clinical skill. This seminar is designed to enhance diagnostic confidence and provide practitioners with practical tools for identifying underlying dysfunction before it becomes disease. Participants will explore how to recognize key patterns of B12 and iron deficiencies, evaluate white blood cell activity to determine when further testing is warranted, and identify markers of liver and kidney dysfunction that are often overlooked. The course will also examine the mechanisms driving degenerative conditions and where to begin intervention, while introducing advanced testing options through Cyrex and Mosaic Diagnostics. Through real-world case studies and interactive discussion, attendees will gain actionable insights and strategies that can be immediately integrated into patient care.
Attendees will learn to:
- Interpret laboratory results from a functional perspective to identify early signs of nutritional deficiencies and systemic dysfunction.
- Differentiate between normal and abnormal patterns in white blood cell activity, and determine when additional diagnostic testing is clinically indicated.
- Recognize overlooked markers of liver and kidney dysfunction and understand their relevance to chronic and degenerative conditions.
- Determine when it is appropriate to refer patients for additional evaluation or specialized care.
- Identify which laboratory markers should be retested and establish appropriate timelines for follow-up testing.
