The First: Free Speech at the Crossroads

A 90-minute public affairs documentary produced by Fast Forward Films and presented by Rocky Mountain PBS as part of the public media collection celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. The film examines the modern state of First Amendment freedoms, exploring contemporary challenges such as censorship, political polarization and threats to open discourse in the United States.

Join veteran NBC News senior correspondent and CU alumnus Tom Costello (Jour’87), Colorado Public Radio reporter/host Bazi Kanani and film director Brian Malone for a post-screening discussion.
