Join Virginia’s State Corporation Commission for an informative workshop designed to help current and aspiring business owners better understand the Commission’s role in starting, managing, and maintaining a business in Virginia. Participants will receive an overview of the Clerk’s Office, learn how to use the Clerk’s Information System (CIS), and watch a live, hands-on demonstration of the online portal. The session will cover common business filings, annual registration requirements, entity searches, document submissions, and other online services, giving attendees the knowledge and confidence to successfully navigate the system and keep their businesses in good standing.
