Course Description

As dental implants have become a widely accepted treatment option, patient expectations for natural-looking esthetic outcomes continue to rise. Immediate implant placement in the anterior esthetic zone offers significant clinical and patient-centered advantages, including reduced treatment time, preservation of tissue architecture, and improved patient satisfaction. However, achieving predictable esthetic results requires careful case selection, prosthetically driven treatment planning, precise surgical execution, and a thorough understanding of hard and soft tissue management. This presentation will explore the surgical and restorative principles that guide successful immediate implant therapy from extraction through final restoration. Participants will learn how to evaluate extraction sites, determine when immediate implant placement is indicated, and incorporate bone and soft tissue augmentation techniques to support long-term esthetic stability. Emphasis will be placed on ideal three-dimensional implant positioning, atraumatic extraction, provisionalization strategies, soft tissue development, and restorative protocols that contribute to highly esthetic and functional outcomes. Through clinical case presentations and practical treatment protocols, attendees will gain practical strategies for managing single and multiple tooth replacements in the esthetic zone while improving treatment predictability and optimizing esthetic outcomes.
