Abigail Shrier

Join us for an evening of dinner, drinks, and candid conversation in a small-group setting.
The evening will feature a wide-ranging conversation with Abigail Shrier about her work and the cultural questions at the center of her writing.
Abigail Shrier is a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute. Renowned for her meticulous research and unwavering commitment to truth—even in the face of intense personal risk—Abigail is the author of the national bestsellers Irreversible Damage and Bad Therapy, books that have fundamentally reshaped debates on gender and the youth mental health crisis. A winner of the 2025 Samizdat Prize and the 2021 Barbara Olson Award for Excellence and Independence in Journalism, she has been the subject of an admiring profile in The Free Press, where she is a frequent contributor.
Ms. Shrier holds an AB from Columbia College, where she received the Euretta J. Kellett Fellowship; a BPhil from the University of Oxford; and a JD from Yale Law School. Her works have been translated into twenty languages, and her writing has appeared in City Journal, the New York Post, the Wall Street Journal, and The Free Press.
In her latest project, Abigail has turned her keen eye toward a new subject: the growing disinterest in dating and romance among today’s youth. By examining how evolving cultural practices and parenting approaches are reshaping young people’s capacity for forming meaningful relationships, she reveals trends with profound implications for families and society alike.
Throughout the evening, Shrier and Salam will explore these ideas and invite guests into a candid, wide-ranging conversation.
Space for this private dinner is limited.
