Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Small Business Boot Camp

The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Small Business Boot Camp is a program that provides small contractors with the tools to enhance their competitivenessthrough a comprehensive, hands-on curriculum. At the conclusion of the program, graduating small contractors will be ready to bid on LAUSD contracts and to pursue contracts with other public agencies. The program offers both short- and long-term benefits for participating contractors and will expand the district's pool of qualified contractors.

Launch Grants: Opening a brick-and-mortar business

The Small Business Mobility Fund: Launch Grants, support eligible small businesses who have recently launched a new brick-and-mortar location in unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County by offering $5,000 to non-retail businesses with a commercial lease and $10,000 to retail businesses with a commercial lease.

DEO is also offering The Small Business Mobility Fund: Entrepreneurship Academy Grants ($2,000) for eligible graduates of DEO’s EMI Entrepreneurship Academy who own small businesses in Los Angeles County.
