Thank you for your continued membership in the New Jersey Association of Community Providers (NJACP). We wanted to share a little information about NJACP—some things you may already know, and perhaps a few things you may not!
A Quick Overview of NJACP
For a quick overview: NJACP has well over 80 members, all of whom provide support and services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in New Jersey. Some members also provide services to children, while others provide services in additional states.
Our members vary in the types of services they provide and in the size of their organizations, from very small agencies to very large organizations. What we all have in common is our commitment to providing services and support to adults with IDD in New Jersey.
Our New Logo
Earlier this year, NJACP introduced a new logo created by the NJACP staff because we wanted something that more meaningfully represented who we are and what we do.
The bold NJACP lettering is intentionally designed using an accessible font. The three figures represent the connection between individuals, families, and providers, while the three primary colors symbolize how, when combined, they can create countless other colors—reflecting diversity, collaboration, and possibility.
Most importantly, the logo supports and reinforces NJACP's mission. The more human-centered design reflects how people are at the heart of everything we do—whether it is the individuals supported by our member agencies, the staff delivering essential services every day, or our members working together to advocate and create change.
By centering people and partnership, the logo reflects NJACP's role in bringing stakeholders together, strengthening community-based services, and advancing better outcomes across the system.
The NJACP Team
Yes, we run lean—but we are dedicated, knowledgeable, and get things done!
Libby Vinson has served as CEO since July 1, 2025. She brings experience working with the disability community and nonprofit sector, as well as legislative and lobbying experience, to help lead NJACP into the future. You may have seen posts from her listening tour as she visits members and legislators throughout New Jersey. And with Libby, we also started a podcast!
Maureen Shea keeps members informed through our Advocacy Center and Advocacy page on the NJACP website, providing important information related to advocacy and legislative issues.

Your NJACP membership provides opportunities to stay connected, informed, and engaged throughout the year.
Membership & Strategic Partner Referrals
Did you know that if you refer an organization and they become an NJACP member or strategic partner, you receive a $500 credit toward your next membership renewal?
Send your referrals to Colleen Klepser, who is responsible for NJACP's membership and strategic partnership recruitment programs.
Professional Development & Training
Luis Santiago handles NJACP's events throughout the year, as well as our professional development opportunities.
These include seminars, such as the I.C.E. Training and Social Media Series, which are free to members, as well as workshop trainings, such as SIT Levels 1 & 2, which are offered at a discounted rate to members.
Networking Opportunities
NJACP provides great opportunities to connect and collaborate through our Monthly Membership Meetings, Committee Meetings, and Constituency Group Meetings.
These meetings are a great way to stay informed, share ideas, connect with other providers, and have your organization's voice heard. To learn more about the various meetings or to sign up, contact Colleen at cklepser@njacp.org.
