The Social Development Strategy (SDS) is an approach that builds strengths in youth and communities by encouraging positive connections and supportive interactions to reduce unhealthy behaviors.

Who Should Attend
This resource is designed to prepare any youth-serving agencies/individual to use the Social Development Strategy (SDS) in their work.  

For coalitions doing Communities That Care, this resource is particularly valuable when developing the coalition's Action Plan. It can help the Youth Involvement and Community Board Maintenance workgroups plan and carry out their long-term responsibilities. These include youth engagement, coalition membership, leadership development, and coalition sustainability

This workshop is interactive and includes presentations, group conversations, and large group discussions.
