Life on the farm has inherent risks. Equipment operation, electricity, high elevations, weather factors,

hazardous natural pests, chemical exposures are among many elements farm operators deal with daily.

Large companies and insurance companies spend vast quantities of time and money ensuring their

employees are trained in safety. As a sole proprietor farmer, you are on your own. This engaging session

attempts to review some common safety practices, but also point out a few "gotcha" hazards that people

don't often consider to avoid dangerous consequences.
