Course Description
This foundational course is designed to build confidence and consistency in intraoral scanning with Primescan. Participants will understand the benefits of scanning when compared to traditional impression taking techniques. Attendees will learn a repeatable scan routine that ensures clean data capture. Through hands-on exercises, attendees will practice scanning strategies for single units, full arches and dental implants. By the end of the session, participants will have the skills to produce reliable, send-ready scans that support predictable downstream workflows.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Prepare and execute a structured scan strategy for single-unit, full-arch and implant cases using ergonomic and efficient techniques.
- Capture clean, complete datasets with attention to margins, contacts, and occlusal detail.
- Verify bite alignment and case accuracy to prevent hidden errors in downstream steps.
- Perform a 60-second quality control review and organize files for a clean handoff to labs or internal teams.
