In 2024, the IIA issued an update to the IPPF, including new Global Internal Audit Standards. The Standards contain many updates and clarifications to enhance the profession of internal auditing, many of which will have an impact on external quality assessments. The Standards also seek to elevate the quality of the assessments by requiring an internal audit function to demonstrate not only conformance but also performance. Internal audit functions and external quality assessors may face challenges and opportunities from the new requirements.

In this open forum, you will gain knowledge and insight from experienced experts on how your internal audit function can enhance audit quality, ensure conformance, improve performance, boost your function’s maturity, elevate credibility with stakeholders, and help strengthen your organization’s ability to create, protect and sustain value. Please come prepared with your questions for the experts!
