This webinar examines the most recent developments in peroxide-based and non-peroxide bleaching agents, with a focus on phthalimido-peroxy-caproic acid (a peroxyl derivative), cysteine proteases, and sodium dithionites (non-peroxide agents). The rationale for seeking non-peroxide agents elucidates their mechanisms of action, and potential safety concerns are addressed.
