Every beautiful sheepskin starts with good prep work. Join our farm team in this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to properly flesh and salt fresh hides so they’re preserved and ready for tanning. We’ll be working with Tunis sheep hides, a heritage breed known for its creamy wool and rich history, and the hides we prepare together will be used in our hide tanning class this winter.
This is messy, hands-on work, so wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty. All tools and materials are provided.
