Course Description
This clinically focused program explores how advanced ultrasonic instrumentation and minimally invasive periodontal therapy can support periodontal remission and long-term stability. Participants will review evidence-based power-driven instrumentation techniques, biofilm disruption strategies, and best practices for the assessment and maintenance of dental implants in patients with periodontal disease to support peri-implant health. The program also examines adjunctive concepts, including laser therapy for inflammation reduction and periodontal maintenance, to enhance clinical outcomes and long-term periodontal stability.
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Define periodontal remission and identify clinical indicators associated with periodontal stability.
- Demonstrate evidence-based ultrasonic instrumentation strategies for efficient biofilm and calculus disruption.
- Discuss minimally invasive approaches, including adjunctive laser therapy concepts, in periodontal maintenance and inflammation reduction.
