Duty of Care

We strive to create a community of ARNOVAns who actively support and uplift one another. Our goal is to ensure that the ARNOVA Conference is a safe and respectful space for networking, learning, and collaboration.

Keeping ARNOVAns Safe:

Visit our Registration & Information desk, located on the 2nd floor with any concerns our questions you have during your time at the conference.

Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Click here to learn more about our Anti-Harassment & Discrimination policy.

ARNOVA requires the properties and vendors we contract with to agree to abide by ARNOVA's Code of Ethics and, in particular, to commit to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment (as described in the Code of Ethics). Click here to read more.

Restrooms: ARNOVA will ensure there are gender-neutral bathrooms in the meeting space.

Security: ARNOVA’s safety plan includes direct communication with the hotel security team and includes information in the conference app about how attendees can contact security should they have an immediate problem.

We encourage anyone to reach out to our ARNOVA ombudsperson to help resolve concerns you may have during the conference, which can include receiving unwanted attention and behavior.
