Guidelines for Poster Presenters

Poster presentations provide an opportunity to share research and engage in discussion with conference attendees in an interactive format.

Poster Design

When preparing your poster:

  •  Focus on presenting your key findings clearly and concisely.
  •  Use large, readable fonts and high-contrast colors.
  •  Limit the amount of text and use visuals where appropriate.
  •  Organize content using clear headings and sections.

Poster Dimensions

Each presenter will be provided with a freestanding poster board measuring 4 feet high by 8 feet wide. Posters may be printed to fill the entire display area or may consist of multiple pieces arranged within the available space.

Thumbtacks will be provided to secure materials to the poster board. Please do not mount your poster or materials on foam board, as foam board is not recommended for these displays.

During the Poster Session

  •  Presenters should arrive early to set up their posters.
  •  Presenters are expected to remain with their poster during the scheduled poster session to answer questions and engage with attendees.
  •  Be prepared to provide a brief overview of your research and discuss your findings with conference participants.
  • Presenters should bring their printed poster and any additional materials needed for their presentation. Thumbtacks will be provided for display setup.

Conference Registration

All poster presenters must be registered for the conference in order to present.
