Course outline:
Dentistry is known to be a stressful profession. Experiencing a high level of chronic stress can have adverse consequences on a person’s physical and mental health including being at greater risk of suffering from chronic pain, burnout, depression, and anxiety. With this in mind, it seems important to inform dentists of evidence-based stress management strategies that foster wellness.

· Learning to identify signs of chronic stress, depression, anxiety and burnout
· Learning about evidence-based stress management strategies and ways of implementing them in your daily life

8:30-11:30am The Bioclear Method in the Posterior- Preparation and restoration of the modern class II

Course Outline:
In this 3 hour session session, you will be introduced to the benefits of Bioclear, and see a live demonstartion on soft-tissue dentiforms, and come away with the basic understanding needed as a precursor to performing the Bioclear Method for your patients. Come see how the process allows us to create beautiful monolithic restorations directly in the mouth!
3 hour session SESSION: • The posterior portion of this course introduces Bioclear Class II and “Calla Lily” cavity preparation designs. • As well as engineering principles used in the design of new non-retentive compression-based preparations. • The LIVE DEMONSTRATION involves the restoration of a Class II prepared tooth and the polishing of the restoration.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn how to prep teeth using the principle of a compression joint establishment.
- Learn how the process allows us to create monolithic restorations directly in the mouth.
- Learn how to use the clear anatomic matrices in the posterior area to restore a Class II.
- Learn how to achieve the 3 step "Rock Star Polish” for your restorations.

REFUND POLICY
Full refunds minus a $100.00 service charge will be granted for cancellations made up to 60 days prior to the course.
Cancellations made between 45 and 59 days prior to the first day of the program will receive a 50% refund.
No refunds will be granted for cancellations made less than thirty days prior to the first day of the program. McGill Continuing Dental Education reserves the right to cancel courses or switch instructors if deemed necessary by low enrolment, instructor cancellation or other unforeseen issues. In case of course cancellation a full refund will be issued.
McGill University cannot be responsible for the refund of any part of the tuition fees as a result of emergencies, unforeseen circumstances or events beyond its control.
