Week of action: August 24–29

Registration is now open for National Action Week for Animals — a free week of collective action for no-kill, anchored by a virtual summit on Tuesday, August 25.
This free virtual event rallies animal welfare advocates to turn proven, lifesaving strategies into real change in their own communities. Each session closes with a simple call to action you can complete during the week, so together we can turn individual actions into meaningful progress for no-kill.
Here’s how the week unfolds:
Please note: Monday's networking hour has been cancelled, we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
Tuesday, August 25, 12 – 3 p.m. PT / 3 – 6 p.m. ET — Join the main live virtual summit for sessions, strategies, and stories from the movement.
Through the week — Take one simple action each day to help advance no-kill in your community. From contacting decision-makers to spreading the word, every action adds up when we take them together.
Whether you’ve advocated for years or this is your first time, you’ll leave knowing exactly how you can help create a brighter future for pets. Invite your friends, family, and fellow animal lovers to join you—everyone is welcome, and every voice makes a difference.
