Peripheral Laser Atherectomy

Learn about the strategies for treating complex lesions in femoropopliteal using Philips Laser System. Lower limb complex arterial obstructions can be difficult to treat by standard endovascular means. The workshop will combine discussions, information sharing and tips and tricks during performance of live cases, so you can refine and perfect your treatment approach of patients with Chronic Limb Threatening Ischaemia (CLTI) as well as learn how Laser can be utilized in these complex lesions.

Course objectives

  • Outline treatment strategies for the care of patients with complex peripheral arterial disease (PAD) using Laser
  • Review the technical strategies and techniques to cross complex lesions such as heavily calcified CTOs and multi-level disease in the femoropopliteal region
  • Engage with faculty and other physician peers to discuss best practices for treating patients with PAD
