This 1-hour, on-demand e-learning course teaches the elements involved in safe driving and fueling of natural gas-powered refuse vehicles. This training provides all the information necessary to ensure that your natural gas refuse fleet is driven and fueled to meet or exceed current safety standards.

Course Objectives:

  • Explain the role of natural gas in the transportation industry.
  • List the unique features of natural gas refuse vehicles.
  • Explain NGV safety components, hazards, and procedures.
  • Describe how to properly fuel compressed natural gas vehicles.
  • Explain what to do in case an emergency occurs.
  • Explain natural gas vehicle inspection requirements and general driver precautions.
