Event Summary:
Auditing the Digital Frontier: Cyber, AI, and Resilience
A four-part virtual webinar series
Technology is changing faster than traditional audit approaches were built for. The perimeter is gone, AI agents are making decisions, ransomware is a matter of "when," not "if," and the business expects innovation without friction. Internal audit has to keep up, and it also has to lead.
This series follows that shift in four steps: securing the enterprise, governing AI, enabling innovation, and finally positioning audit as a strategic advisor. Each session gives practical frameworks, real-world examples, and audit approaches you can use right away.
Session 1: From Protection to Recovery: Auditing Zero Trust and Ransomware Resilience
How to validate security controls in a perimeter-less environment, and how to assess whether the organization can withstand and recover from a ransomware event. Topics include zero-trust architecture, identity-centric controls, backup and recovery testing, and business resilience.
Session 2: AI Under Audit: Governing Generative and Agentic AI
A practical look at AI governance, model risk, and responsible AI, including the new risks that come with autonomous, agentic systems. You'll leave with approaches for auditing AI-enabled processes and for judging whether governance is keeping pace with adoption.
Session 3: Auditing Innovation Without Slowing It Down
Cloud, automation, data analytics, and digital transformation are changing how the business runs. This session covers how auditors can give meaningful assurance over emerging technology while acting as an enabler rather than a bottleneck.
Session 4: From Risk to Resilience: Internal Audit as Strategic Digital Advisor
The capstone session brings cybersecurity, technology, and resilience together into executive-level risk insight. It looks at how internal audit can move from looking back to looking ahead and become a trusted partner to management and the board.
Who should attend: Internal auditors, IT auditors, risk and compliance professionals, CISOs and technology risk leaders, and anyone responsible for assurance over digital transformation.
