Venue and location
Where is the event taking place?
The Vox Conference Venue, Resorts World, National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, B40 1PU.
Getting there (train, car and air)
How do I get there by train?
The Vox is a 4-minute walk from Birmingham International Station. Follow signs to the NEC/Resorts World. After exiting the station, walk straight ahead with the lake on your left. You can view more information on accessing The Vox here.
Can I fly in?
Birmingham International Airport is directly connected to the NEC via a free 2-minute monorail to the train station, from where you can follow the walking directions above.
Is there parking available?
Free parking is available at the NEC. Details of which car park to use will be confirmed closer to the event. Please bring your parking ticket to validate at The Vox.
Arrival and what to expect
What time does the conference on Tuesday 3rd November start and finish?
Arrival is from 9:00am, with the conference starting promptly at 9:30am. The conference is expected to finish at approximately 5:00pm. Evening drinks and dinner begin from 7:00pm.
What is the dress code?
For the daytime conference, business attire is requested (ties are not required). For the evening event it is smart casual.
What do I need to bring on the day?
You will be given a lanyard which must be worn at all times throughout the day, including the evening dinner.
Food, drink and dietary requirements
Will food and drink be provided?
Yes, all food and drink is included from your arrival through to the end of the evening event. Expense claims for food and drink during this period will not be reimbursed.
What if I have a dietary or other requirement?
Please indicate any dietary or other requirements when you register. You can also email conference@pfgl.co.uk at any time before the event.
Accommodation
Accommodation is available for the night before and the night after the conference. Please indicate your requirements when registering and we will confirm your hotel allocation with all the details you need closer to the event.
On the day
Will there be a photographer or videographer at the event?
Yes, a professional photographer and videographer will be present throughout the day. If you have requested not to be photographed, this will be respected and any images in which you appear will not be used. A headshot session will also be available during the first break and lunchtime, simply approach the photographer if you would like one taken.
Who do I contact if I have a question?
Prior to the event you can email conference@pfgl.co.uk. The team will be available on-site throughout the event on the registration desk at the entrance.
