This 10-week, evidence-based training course—developed in partnership with ADvancing States—offers a comprehensive exploration of Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) systems, policies, and operations. Designed to enhance professional effectiveness and strengthen policy advocacy, the program equips participants with the knowledge and tools to better support individuals in their homes and communities.

• Key populations utilizing Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS)
• Organizations and individuals delivering LTSS
• Funding sources for LTSS, with a focus on HCBS
• Core policies including the Older Americans Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Medicare/Medicaid
• Processes for accessing services
