About the Meeting

Navigating Complexity: People, Strategy, and Resources

Academic medicine is evolving rapidly, and success depends on stronger alignment across faculty affairs, institutional planning, and business operations. To address this complexity, the AAMC Group on Business Affairs (GBA), Group on Institutional Planning (GIP), and Group on Faculty Affairs (GFA) will come together for a joint spring meeting focused on navigating the intersection of people, strategy, and resources.

This convening brings together leaders and practitioners from across finance, faculty affairs, administration, human resources, strategic planning, and space planning and facilities management to learn, network, and collaborate on practical approaches shaping the future of academic medicine. Participants can expect engaging discussions that bridge strategy and execution; while offering actionable insights and ideas they can take back to their institutions and apply immediately.
