Keller and Heckman’s internationally recognized Food Packaging team is pleased to invite you to our 27th Annual Food Packaging Law Seminar, taking place October 27–28, 2026, in Arlington, Virginia.
This comprehensive program brings together regulatory, scientific, and legal professionals from across the food-contact industry to examine the latest developments affecting food packaging materials and sustainability initiatives. We are pleased to welcome Mark Hartman of FDA’s Human Foods Program, who will share key regulatory updates and insights from the Agency, offering attendees a valuable perspective on the latest FDA developments impacting the industry, including FDA's recent proposed rule on mandatory Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) notices.
Led by Keller and Heckman attorneys, chemists, and toxicologists, the seminar will provide practical guidance on U.S. food-contact regulation, GRAS developments, GMPs, adulteration and recalls, chemicals of concern, litigation, and FDA’s post-market review program. The program will also address key international and sustainability developments, including evolving regulatory frameworks across major global markets, Extended Producer Responsibility laws, recycling requirements, and environmental marketing claims.
New attendee benefit: Registered attendees may request a complimentary 20-minute private consultation with attorneys from our Shanghai or Brussels office to discuss international food packaging regulatory questions. Consultations may be requested during registration and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability and confirmation.
These discussions are for informational purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice and do not establish an attorney-client relationship.
