The Ohio Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) will host its Family Medicine Celebration on Saturday, August 15, at The Grand Event Center in Columbus, OH. The celebration is being held for members, old and new, to network, receive Academy updates, and share insights with their colleagues. The OAFP will provide the education members have come to expect, while offering the much needed community and camaraderie vital to support the specialty.

Residency Fair

Cost: $250

  • Listed as a destination on the passport program used to encourage students to visit each program at the Residency Fair
  • One and a half hours of dedicated time to connect with OAFP student members committed to or strongly considering family medicine
  • Promotion as a participating program on the event website
  • Named as a participating program in all Residency Fair promotions to medical students such as e-newsletters, direct to member emails, and social media
  • Recognition as a participating program in a post-event email to medical student attendees.
  • Schedule:
    • Check-in and set up: 2:00 - 2:30 pm
    • Residency Fair: 2:30 - 4:00 pm
    • Take-down: 4:00 - 4:30

Please note: Registering a program for the Residency Fair includes faculty, staff, and resident attendance for that session only, it does not include attendance at the rest of the event. Residency program faculty and residents interested in attending the Family Medicine Celebration programming outside of the Residency Fair are welcome and need to register separately through the attendee registration link found on the event website.
