This year's kaupapa ‘He peka tītoki, e kore e whati’ speaks to the strength and resilience of our collective as kaiako across Aotearoa, and our shared commitment to quality teaching and learning. It signifies the legacy of our role as educators - to nurture identity, strengthen belonging, and contribute to the mana of mokopuna and te reo Māori. It also acknowledges the unknown of when change will come, calling us to stay adaptable and flexible, just like the tītoki branch.

Our kaupapa is expressed through three pou:

• Mana Kaiako - sustaining the wellbeing and resilience of kaiako.
• Mana Mokopuna - upholding the mana of learners amidst change.
• Mana Reo - protecting and growing te reo Māori through teaching and learning.
