Frosch Student Travel has been appointed by the University Studies Abroad Consortium to provide an optional group flight to San Jose, Costa Rica for your study abroad program. We will provide round-trip transportation on United Airlines from your local city to San Jose via Houston departing on August 16, 2026. Please register online above for a fare quote to depart from your local city to merge with the Houston group flight. All flights will merge with the Houston group flight.
If the group flight does not meet your travel plans, you may continue to register online above and specify your preferred departure city to merge with the group flight on the reservation form under departure options as per instructions below.

We are offering group return flight departing San Jose on December 05, 2026, and May 08, 2027, with an option to fly back independently on a different return date. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.
(Your return flights may be booked differently based on your return destination to the US in order to make flight connections to your home city.)

FLIGHT REGISTRATION AND DEADLINES
May 29, 2026:
Please complete and submit the flight reservation form if you wish to join the group flight. Please register online with credit card payment. Your credit card will not be charged until you receive and accept an itinerary and fare quote.
TICKET VALIDITY AND RETURN FLIGHT INFORMATION
- Your return ticket is valid until August 15, 2027 (1 year) from San Jose back to the city of your departure.
- We are offering a group return flight departing San Jose on December 05, 2026, and May 08, 2027. You may fly back with the group, or you may opt to fly back independently on a different date from Costa Rica. Please specify your choice on the reservation form.
- Once abroad you are allowed to change your already confirmed return flight date by contacting our Frosch Student Travel office while abroad. Please note that all date changes are subject to availability of the flights. May, June, July and August are the busiest months for travel to the USA. The ticket you purchase has limited availability on the flights.
- Any unused portion of your ticket is non-refundable.
CANCELLATION POLICY
This is a non-refundable ticket. You have the option to keep the credit of the ticket for future travel for one year.
YOUR TICKET DELIVERY
Your round-trip electronic ticket will be sent to your email address specified on the reservation form.

SEATING
PLEASE BE ADVISED: We will provide free pre-assigned seating on available flights. Not all airlines allow free pre-assigned seating and will charge a seat fee per flight. You may also choose a free seat using online check-in 24 hours prior to departure or at the check-in counter at the airport to avoid any seating fees.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
You are allowed to check-in 1 bag for a fee of $50 weighing not more than 50 pounds. The total dimensions of the bag must be 62 inches (length, width and height). You may also carry-on 1 free bag weighing not more than 12 pounds. The total dimensions of the carry-on bag must not exceed more than 45 inches (length, width and height).
The airlines are very strict about the baggage allowance. Please do not try to check-in over-sized or over-weight baggage as it may result in an excess baggage penalty at the airport.
Please be able to handle all your own baggage. Traveling with light baggage will make your travel much easier.
