Program 223: Heat Rate Improvement Conference - February 2024

OVERVIEW

Announcing the 2024 EPRI Heat Rate Improvement Conference.

This 2 ½ day event will consist of numerous formal presentations on various technical topics related to plant heat rate improvement. Time for discussions and Q&A will be provided to maximize the technical exchanges.

A vendor exhibition will be held in an adjoining meeting room, containing vendor display booths.

On Tuesday evening, EPRI will host a reception in the vendor exhibition area permitting the continuation of informal discussions.

Prior to the conference and then continuing Thursday afternoon, we will offer Heat Rate awareness training for an additional fee.  This training will cover heat rate fundamentals including but not be limited to power plant thermodynamics, cost of heat rate deviations, controllable losses, cycle isolation, cycle components, instrumentation effects, optimization tools, and more.

The dress for this event is business casual.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day for all conference registrants.

An appropriate number of PDH’s will be offered to attendees meeting conference requirements.

This is an in-person event.
