ACTIVITY CONSIDERATIONS

THE VENUE: The Exploration Place, 300 N McLean Blvd, Wichita, KS 67203 , 

THE HOTEL: Home 2Suites by Hilton Wichita Downtown Delano, 200 N Sycamore St., Wichita, KS 68203

The venue and hotel are accessible with wheelchairs. 

Entrance for the CONFERENCE CHECK-IN will be at THE EXPLORATIONPLACE—through the side door that says “EXPLORER ROOM”, (not the main entrance). The MEALS and the PROGRAMS, including the SPEAKERS, will be in the “Explorer Room.” Other activities will be located throughout the venue. Lunches and dinners are included with your registration. Breakfast will be served at your hotel.

The Exploration Place will have activities going on during free time as well.  There will be quiet table- top service projects and activities provided. 

In addition to the AMAZING and unique HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES provided at The Exploration Place, there will  be PROFESSIONAL DANCE INSTRUCTION, (line dancing and partner dancing). For those who need to get away from the noise, there will be TABLE-TOP SERVICE PROJECTS and PAINTING.

Friday night EXCLUSIVE DOME THEATER MOVIE: “A Night at the Museum.”

The HOTEL is across the street from the Exploration Place so a person could retire early or go for a swim at the indoor pool.

FOOD

In consideration of feeding a large group of people, we cannot be responsible for airborne food allergies. (We will not be serving peanuts specifically). We will have gluten free options, but will not be able to accommodate all specific allergies. If there is worry or concern about allergies, the person may need to be responsible for their own food . The hotel will be serving breakfast. 

If dietary needs are strict, a person will need to be responsible for their own care and for bringing and administering their own EpiPen. 

TRANSPORTATION

All attendees assume full responsibility for their personal travel to and from the event. The conference organizers, staff, and affiliates shall not be held liable or responsible for any injuries, losses, delays, or expenses related to transportation.
