Cause Mapping Root Cause Analysis (In-Person)

Course Overview

The workshop’s first two days focus on foundational Cause Mapping for Facilitators, blending concepts, examples, and exercises to build essential skills. Day 1 covers core principles, while Day 2 applies them to real-world, organization-specific problems, including an exercise on attendees’ own issues. Day 3 provides hands-on practice using the Cause Mapping Root Cause Analysis Template in Excel for complete investigations. Participants will learn to analyze problems, improve communication, apply cause-and-effect relationships, identify effective solutions, avoid miscommunication, facilitate group problem-solving, and build cumulative Cause Maps to share lessons learned across their organization.
