Dress code – In order to promote a professional educational environment, a dress code is required for all course attendees. Casual attire is appropriate with sturdy, closed toe shoes, long pants, and shirts without holes or offensive material. Shorts, skirts, open toed shoes/sandals, tank tops, and any revealing/offensive clothing is not permitted. Attendees in violation may be removed from their course without refund.
Registration – Available November 1 - March 10. You must pay at the time of registration – all major credit cards are accepted. Upon successfully registration and processing payment, you will receive an email confirmation. If that registration does not have your class listed on it, your registration is not complete. If you did not have to pay for your class and it said there is room available, something is wrong with your registration. Call us immediately so we can figure out what happened. If you wait, the class may fill and you will not get a spot in the class. If you selected the option to join the waitlist, you will not be required to pay at that time. Payment is only required to secure a spot when one is available.
Tuition is *$85/day (*There are a few exceptions for daily rate). There is also a one-time $5 non-refundable registration fee for each registration processed.
Cancellation: You have until February 28 to cancel and receive a 90% refund. If cancelling between February 28 and March 10, you will receive 50% refund. Cancelling after March 10, there are no refunds.
**DO NOT CREATE MULTIPLE REGISTRATIONS. You can alter your registration at anytime by clicking the "already registered" in the red box above. This includes adding or dropping a course, swapping courses or cancelling. Creating multiple registrations will not allow the system to manage your student profile accurately, resulting in double booking yourself with overlapping courses. We will be unable to process refunds for students who overbook and cannot attend courses because of this.
Waitlist - If a class is full, you may select the option to join the waitlist. Joining the waitlist does NOT guarantee a spot in the class. If a spot opens up, an automated email will go out to those that signed up for the waitlist. Be sure to follow the directions in the email to modify your registration and pay for the course if still available. Read your confirmation email carefully to ensure that it says "waitlist" next to the course name.
You must check-in for class each day. In order to obtain a certificate of completion for the course, do not make travel arrangements to arrive after the scheduled start time or prior to the course completion time. Any student failing to attend the full course instruction and meet requirements of the course, including field days and exams, will not receive a certificate.

Students and trainees should expect a learning environment which demonstrates civility and respect. Respect for the rights of others, for the Academy, and for our University hosts, staff, staff and property are essential expectations. During the period of the Academy’s scheduled classes and activities, these “expectations” apply to on-campus and off-campus behavior.
