New England State Substance Use Disorder State Agency Scholarships
A limited number of partial or full scholarships are offered by the New England State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Agencies to support the attendance at summer school by professionals from their states.
- Each state differs in the amount of scholarship offered, deadlines, and the process by which it is awarded.
- Please request time off to attend the program now if you are applying for a scholarship.
- Check your state's scholarship information below.
- The State of CT has a separate scholarship application process. CT applicants will complete a separate scholarship application and a Summer School registration for CT DMHAS scholarships applicants. The CT DMHAS scholarship application will be posted here as soon as it is available.
- The States of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont, CT Faith-Based, and PTTC scholarship applications are incorporated into the Summer School registration, so you will complete one form to register and apply for a scholarship.
- To assure consideration, it is advised that scholarship applications be sent immediately.
For planning purposes: Some scholarships pay only partial school tuition and payment of the balance is required of all applicants, including those seeking scholarship support. Your Summer School registration form asks how you will pay for your balance after any scholarship award is applied, and what to do if you do not receive a scholarship.
If you apply for a scholarship and will NOT attend if you do not receive scholarship funding, select "Please withdraw if I do not receive a scholarship” on your New England Summer School registration form. Otherwise, please note how balance will be paid, and you will be responsible for your balance due if you do not cancel your application.
