Career Fair AND WORKSHOPS
The AAMC invites representatives from medical school admissions, diversity affairs, and biomedical science training programs to register for and participate in the 2024 Diversifying the Next Generation of Doctors: Career Fair and Workshops. We also invite AAMC partners in the health professions to attend and engage students.
This annual fair draws hundreds of underrepresented high school and college students interested in exploring opportunities in medicine and biomedical sciences.
Additionally, the fair gives recruiters a valuable opportunity to engage a diverse group of students and to share information about their institutions and programs.
The Diversifying the Next Generation of Doctors: Career Fair and Workshops will be held on Saturday, Nov. 9, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC), Building B.
Important Information
Purchasing a Recruitment Fair Table
The Recruitment Fair is a highlight of Diversifying the Next Generation of Doctors: Career Fair and Workshops. Recruiters can register through the Learn Serve Lead 2024 registration portal. During registration, you will have the option to purchase a recruitment table.
Premium Table
$650
A premium recruitment table consists of one six-foot table, two chairs, and one wastebasket in a primary location.
Regular Table
$550
A regular recruitment table consists of one six-foot table, two chairs, and one wastebasket. Table location is based on order of registration.
If you wish to purchase additional tables, please enter the quantity during registration.
All recruiters and any additional table assistants must register for the career fair. With your 2024 Diversifying the Next Generation of Doctors: Career Fair and Workshops registration, you receive two complimentary career-fair-only registrations. If you want to register someone for the career fair only, please reach out to Leann Kirk at lkirk@aamc.org to obtain instructions for using the complimentary passes. Note, colleagues who will assist at the Career Fair who are already registered for Learn Serve Lead do not need to be registered for the Career Fair separately. Additional career-fair-only badges may be purchased for $175 each. The registration badges provide access to the Career Fair only (setup, recruitment fair, and move-out).
The badges do not provide access to Learn Serve Lead 2024 programs. If you wish to attend Learn Serve Lead 2024 programs, please register for the full conference.
Badges for the 2024 Diversifying the Next Generation of Doctors: Career Fair and Workshops can be retrieved on-site at the GWCC, Building B.
