Program Overview
The St. Jude Race Challenge Program is presented by St. Jude Run Club.

What started as Dr. Downing's "St. Jude 50" has grown into the yearlong St. Jude Run Club AND the annual Race Challenge Program in conjunction with the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend.
We’re here to help you train and build community as you prepare for the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend.
The 2026 Race Challenge Program caps at 300 employees.
From June 3 through race day December 5, the Race Challenge Program offers you mentor support from 8 exceptional St. Jude colleagues, group training runs, social meet-ups, and community building with fellow St. Jude employees.
To be eligible, you must be a St. Jude employee and already registered for an official St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend race.
What to Expect:
- Communication: You’ll be covered with everything you need to know about training and social meet-ups from the Employee Engagement Office and St. Jude mentors. The Race Challenge Program Teams channel is a special channel just for you! It’s a great way to further connect with us, your mentors and other Race Challenge Program participants.
- St. Jude Run Club Membership: If you’re not already a member, we’ll add you to the St. Jude Run Club Teams channel and newsletter. You’ll learn about upcoming runs and social meet-ups.
