A Mindset & Method for Resiliency

How to navigate environments that are increasingly uncertain and unknowable

Featuring Eliana (Lily) Crosina, PhD, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship, Babson College

Join us for an interactive session on Creating a Mindset for Resiliency.

Attendees will be introduced to, and practice, Babson’s Entrepreneurial Thought and Action (ET&A) methodology. ET&A emphasizes entrepreneurship as a way of thinking and acting that helps individuals navigate environments that are increasingly uncertain and unknowable. When information is not available to make an informed decision, the only option is to act. Conventional thinking around new opportunities is to gather and analyze data, write a plan, and then choose to, or not to, act. However, in today’s environment by the time the go/no go decision is made, the window of opportunity is likely gone or significantly diminished. ET&A requires quick and smart action to gather real data, experiment, and accept that the opportunity itself will change and evolve through action.
