The West Virginia Rural Health Conference is the premier annual education event for the West Virginia Rural Health Association. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure that topics relevant to rural health are presented in a professional manner to stakeholders within our state. Topics presented during the conference include clinical practice, innovation in rural health, health policy, and leadership development. Attendees from diverse backgrounds will have access to a wealth of information presented by local, regional, and national level speakers. Additionally, the Association seeks to foster formal and informal networking opportunities during the conference including a research poster symposium for students, faculty, and community members. Attendees can expect two and a half days of plenary and breakout sessions that are eligible for continuing education credits in various disciplines in addition to activities to foster deeper network connections with like-minded colleagues.
