Overview
The CFA Society Singapore University Ethics Challenge is back this year for its ninth iteration! This annual competition sees university teams analyse a case containing a variety of ethical dilemmas faced by investment professionals.
Join this Kick-Off session where you will be provided more information on the Challenge along with tips that may help with your presentation in the Semi-Finals. You will also get to work through short sample case studies to experience the type of dilemmas you might encounter.
💡 How it Works?
It’s easy!
- Just invite two other undergraduates in the same university to form a team of three.
- Team registration period: 5 September 2026, 12:30PM — 14 September 2026, 11:59PM
- Please note: Team registration for the semi-finals will close once capacity is reached or when the deadline passes, whichever comes first. Register early to secure your spot!
- A case study will be released to the registered and confirmed teams, via our official email.
- Present your analysis and recommendation during your allocated slot in the virtual local Semi-Finals.
- The selected few teams will progress to the local Finals happening in-person (more details to be updated).
📈 Benefits of Participation
- Practical ethics training: Gain first-hand experience in analysing and resolving real-world ethical dilemmas, a skill increasingly valued by Singapore firms during internship, scholarship, and job interviews.
- Enhanced communication & collaboration: Improve your presentation skills and learn to work effectively as part of a team under time pressure.
- Connecting with the industry: Network with industry leaders and learn from peers across different universities
