Data Recipients / Accessible to: We may disclose Personal Data to the following categories of recipients for the same purposes described below and where appropriate, we require that such parties maintain its confidentiality and maintain appropriate systems and processes to ensure its security and protection:
- Internal authorized employees of Infosys, including Infosys’ subsidiaries or affiliates, in internal functions such as Marketing, Sales
- Infosys’ service providers and partners who manage the registration process and provide their platform(s), hosting and e-mail services to Infosys
- Visitors, viewers, and other recipients accessing such personal data as published by us on our website(s), digital photo galleries, official social media platforms, and similar publications.
- Auditors, where applicable
- Infosys’ service provider named as 'Cvent' who is managing the registration process for this event and sharing registered data with Infosys. Lawfulness of Processing:
We process your Personal Data when it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are the party or to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract, or consent based on the DP Laws of the applicable jurisdiction, or legitimate use – employment purpose (For India). We process your Personal Data for the performance of a contract in the following circumstances:
- For inviting you to the event as described in our invite
- For informing you about such registration to our event
- For disseminating your knowledge/opinions to the attendees of the aforesaid event and subsequently, to other Infosys employees
- For providing you access to the sessions of the aforesaid event
- For improving our webinars/events with your feedback
- For presenting trend basis poll data received from you as an attendee of the webinar/events, where applicable.
- For improving our webinars/events with better content and flow basis the time spent on the webinar (where applicable) and specific actions performed by you on the event platform
- For capturing the event by means of photographs, videos (including audio video recordings) etc. where applicable to make them available for publications, promotions, press releases etc on Infosys website, video streaming platforms such as YouTube, Official Infosys handles on Social Media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter etc.
- For the purpose of generating leads.
Your Rights (as per applicable DP laws): For any queries related to Data Privacy or to exercise your Data Privacy Rights as per applicable DP laws you may reach out to us by sending an email to privacy@infosys.com.
Secondary Purpose
If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Statement, then we will provide you with a new Statement explaining this new use prior to commencing the processing and setting out the relevant purposes and processing conditions. Where and whenever necessary as per applicable DP laws, we will provide you prior notice and/or seek your prior consent of the new processing, unless authorized by law.
Data Transfer:
- For EU/EEA, UK - The Personal Data listed above may be transferred to countries located outside of the EU/EEA, for which data protection legislation may differ from that of the EEA, i.e., our offices located in India and where applicable, our authorized service providers’ servers located globally. We shall take the necessary steps to ensure confidentiality and security of the transferred data. We have, in particular, implemented the following safeguards: Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 para. 2 lit. c) GDPR), the copies can be obtained by writing to privacy@infosys.com.
- For Non-EU/EEA - If necessary for the above stated purpose, the Personal Data listed above may be transferred to Infosys office located in India and where applicable, our authorized service providers’ servers. We shall take the necessary steps to ensure confidentiality and security of the transferred data. Your personal data is transferred outside your jurisdiction based on Data Transfer Agreement/Consent/Specific Standard Contractual Clauses, etc. based on applicable DP Laws.
Data Security: Infosys adopts reasonable and appropriate security practices and procedures including administrative, physical security, and technical controls in order to safeguard your Personal Data
Data Retention: Personal Data will not be retained for a period more than necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Statement, unless a longer retention period is required by law or for directly related legitimate business purposes.
Contact your Local Data Protection Authority: Depending on the laws of the countries where you reside, if you are unhappy with how we safeguard your personal data, you have the right to bring a complaint to your local data protection authority.
