Since April 2023, clashes between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have killed over 150,000 people, with the US recognizing the RSF's actions as genocide. The crisis has displaced 11.5 million people internally, forced another 3.2 million to flee, and left millions facing catastrophic food insecurity amid the first official famine since 2020.
