The Committee on Bridges & Structures Annual Meeting brings together bridge professionals from the state DOTs, industry, academia, and the federal government to discuss a wide range of topics of interest, including design, construction, inspection, maintenance, and operation of bridges and other transportation-related structures .  Monday and Tuesday consist of technical committee meetings, where proposed changes to the AASHTO specifications, research, and projects are discussed.  Wednesday and Thursday are the General Session, where the committee comes together to vote on specification changes and hear presentations and updates from a variety of speakers.

Business casual attire is encouraged during meetings and sessions, while casual attire is acceptable for evening and social events. Remember a light sweater or jacket for air-conditioned meeting rooms.
