This year’s theme for the Virtual Summit is “Creating a Future of Inclusion”. Disscussions surrounding early detection and intervention in a child’s vision, increases their opportunity later in life. The care and resources we provide today, have a direct impact on what our world will look like tomorrow.
Why Attend:
Many organizations throughout the state offer services, programs, and/or resources to address vision health. Therefore, it is imperative to connect these various organizations to create processes to streamline services and ensure that all areas of the state experience proper and consistent vision services and education. That is the goal of the Vision Summit. The Kansas Vision Coalition is the group of people who attend the Vision Summit who have a stake in vision outreach. Any person or organization who shares the mission of providing outreach, education, and advocacy about vision health for the state of Kansas are invited to attend the Vision Summit and become part of the Kansas Vision Coalition.
