Doug Fisher is professor and chair of educational leadership at San Diego State University and a teacher leader at Health Sciences High and Middle College. A former early intervention and elementary teacher, he is credentialed in California as an English teacher and administrator. Inducted into the Reading Hall of Fame in 2022, he has authored numerous works on literacy, leadership, and curriculum design, including The Teacher Clarity Playbook (2nd ed.) and Welcome to Teaching!.
