The 2026 football season is coming soon and the Seattle Seahawks will be defending their Super Bowl championship. The MPIWSC Fantasy Football League is back too, creating the oppoprtunity to take on your MPI colleagues and earn some bragging rights amongst your friends!!
It's time to pump up the old pigskin, dust off your jersey, create your charcuterie, crack open your beverage of choice and let the rivalries begin as we get ready for FUN, FUN, FUN! SarahBeth Donaghy and her team, SBeastMode, will be defending their second title in three years as 2025's MPI Bowl Champion and our first team to win a second crown. Let's not give up the 2026 bragging rights without a fight!

Fantasy Football has taken the country by storm over the past few decades and is now an intrinsic part of our culture and an exciting way to both follow your favorite NFL teams and players, while having fun building relationships with your friends and colleagues!

It makes watching games more exciting as you root for the players on your fantasy team, as well as your favorite real NFL teams!
HOW IT WORKS
Here are the phases of Fantasy Football:
PRE-SEASON
1. SET UP
Buy your team (Sign-up on this site!); Download the ESPN Fantasy Football app on your phone and bookmark the site on your computer (you'll receive an invitation once the leagues are set). Choose your team name and logo. Watch the recordings of our 2021 training sessions: Fantasy Football 101, FF 102, FF 103, and FF 104A. Or, if you need more pointers, schedule a call with league Commissioner, Terry Onustack!
2. DRAFT YOUR TEAM
Research players (if you wish). Create a draft strategy (if you like!). Read draft rules and instructions. Participate in your league's draft. One of our Zoom training sessions focuses on the draft.
REGULAR SEASON AND PLAYOFFS
1. WEEKLY - SET YOUR STARTING LINEUP
Each week you will need to select which players on your team will "play" and not sit on "the bench." The app/website will keep you informed of players who are injured, questionable, or on a "bye week," necessitating you to swap them out for another player. Players must be chosen prior to the start of their real-life game and cannot be changed out during games - even if they get injured on the first play!
2. WEEKLY - MANAGE YOUR ROSTER
You may need to cut some players and sign free-agents to fill your roster in any given week. You may also solicit trades with your fellow league owners. Maybe you have two good quarterbacks, but another owner's star QB was injured and is out for the season. Perhaps you can trade your extra quarterback for their star wide receiver...
